About the 2025 Conference
County Human Resources professionals were invited to register for the annual affiliate conference, which focused on issues and challenges unique to county governments as employers. The conference began with a networking reception and dinner on May 7, followed by a day of deep-dive content on May 8. Sessions provided updates on public policy surrounding employee benefits, as well as insights into recruitment and retention strategies in the public sector. Additionally, legal experts presented the latest employment law updates affecting county governments.
Opportunities
The Human Resources Conference is held in the spring. The content of this event centers around current issues facing county HR professionals. Separate break-out meetings are held with general sessions bringing the HR professionals together to discuss common issues. This event is targeted to be of most interest to county HR professionals, though other county staff and officials may attend if space permits.
